Historic Doors Return

On May 12th, the Welland Museum was honoured to reveal the replica historic doors for the Carnegie Gallery at 140 King St. Museum staff and Board members were joined by MPP Jeff Burch, City Councillor Bonnie Fokkens, Associate Dean of the School of Trades for Niagara College Jeff Murrell, and CEO of the Welland Library Julianne Brunet for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Guests of the event were invited into the Carnegie Gallery after the ribbon cutting to see the Carnegie Exhibit and enjoy treats from Talent 2 Design and Black Sheep Longue. The Welland Museum is thankful to Niagara College staff and students for their work on the doors and to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for its support of this project.
