As part of our ongoing Insights into the Past series, we are pleased to welcome special guest presenter Nadine Williams, a Black artist and poet whose work centres on history, identity, and lived experience. Her presentation, From Thence to Hence, celebrates Black excellence in Canada through poetry and storytelling that honours both past and present.

This program takes place during a significant milestone year, as Canada marks 30 years of Black History Month. Visitors are invited to reflect on the contributions, creativity, and resilience of Black Canadians, and to engage with stories that continue to shape our national narrative.
