Facility Rental Policy

  • 50% deposit required 2 weeks prior to rental date. Price does not include food or decorations.
  • Cancellations must be made 7 days prior of rental date or deposit will be retained.
  • All food allergies are the responsibility of the rental host.
  • All food and drink must remain in the community room.
  • Any significant damage to the room or site will be charged to the person who booked the facility rental.
  • The Museum reserves the right to deny admission or exclude from the premises any individual(s) whose behaviours negatively impact on the Museum, its guests, volunteers or staff.
  • The Welland Historical Museum is not liable for any losses or injuries incurred during the time of the rental.
  • Please clean up after yourselves.

Note: The interior of the museum (including the community room) and the attached parking lot are under video surveillance.

Rental Checklist

  • Call, visit or email the Welland Museum to make a reservation. Please have a tentative date and time ready.
  • Make arrangements to sign the facility rental application and permit.
  • Make arrangements for the deposit. We accept cash, debit, Visa or Mastercard.
  • The community room has a capacity of 135 non fixed chairs, 105 chairs with tables, and up to 250 people without tables or chairs.
