Become a Volunteer!

The museum is currently looking for a volunteer who is experienced doing carpentry and building for upcoming exhibits.  Please contact Curator Penny Morningstar (pm.wm@cogeco.net) if you would like to assist in this capacity.

Museum volunteers contribute to the maintenance of exhibits and collections and spend time assisting with children’s programs or clerical tasks that keep the Museum running. Volunteer your spare time to the Welland Museum! Please note that potential volunteers may be asked to pass a required security check and/or be interviewed before hand.

 

I decided to volunteer at the museum because of my interest in history, antiques and collectibles. 

I also wanted to help fill the need for assistance in the archives.

Kevin is our longest standing volunteer. 

He is a hard-working and dedicated young man who spends every Wednesday here at the museum. 

Without his efforts the museum wouldn't shine the way it does!
